We couldn't even get away without getting our photos taken with the hotel staff.

As explained in the tour report after we had played, what had started in orderly fashion with the students coming up to the stage to introduce themselves to us soon changed into a frenzy as you will see by the next picture below.

With all the kids wanting autographs things started to get a wee bit chaotic as you will see by the next photo

Things eventually went from bad to worse as order turned to chaos, but it was good fun. At the end of it all, we all had ink on our arms and the shirts we had on were all ready for the bucket. We hope that you've enjoyed this little insight about being on a Hawick Pipe Band trip. It's events like these that make learning and playing the pipes all the more worthwhile.
