It’s the man of the moment, Stow pipe bands favorite super star Buff Ladylove. After his recent highly successful tour of the Sahara desert singing a version of the plitters classic “Sand gets in your hole” The young star has moved on to North Korea where three girls mobbed him during his first gig.
The R.N can now reveal that Buff will be returning to Scotland before Christmas for the premier of his new film the seasonal tearjerker “The cripple that could not walk”. All the best Buff.     

                                                             

                                           
Hawick Pipe Bands very own Frank Furterfingers has announced his engagement this week to his long time girl friend Helga Snottermuncher, Helga a German Princess and future Queen of Rotwielinstien is delighted and just can’t wait until their big day in June next year. The Renwick News photographer Mr Anderson is to be in charge of all media coverage for this big event.

 

WHERE’S THE BIRD????????

Hawick Pipe Band has sent players all round the world to give people “the bird” so if some handsome strangers come up to you and ask you to pose for a photo ask yourself first, will I get “THE BIRD”. Here is our first victim Nickers from Gala who was photographed in Dover.

Ooh ooh Mr Peevley, Mr Peevley I once remember Jonsey telling me that his pipes were so easy that you could blow them with your nose, ooh ooh I tried it at home and filled the bag with snotters.

The great John Noakes tells all to the R.N.

“I know a man who has a dog, a little black and white collie dog”. These are the famous words to the chart topping song known by respectable pipe bands worldwide. Our roving reporter tracked down Mr Noakes To find out if he really was sh*ggin shep. His reply was “eee bye goom lad how did ye find that out”. Noakes also said that he has found a new love in hill walking and was going off next week to mount Petra.

 

The stars were once again out in force at this years grab a granny awards, pictured right is the one and only Buff Ladylove. His natural John Merrick looks have earned him starring roles in many  flopbuster movies such as “Hemeroids from the deep,” “Timmy the warthog boy” and "Desperate Dan was my Father". The Renwick News would like to take this opportunity to wish buff all the best with his debut single “Every loser loses.
