Piper at Sunset

Peebles Competition

Winners of Grade four at Peebles Highland games where everything went according to plan, we totally humped our nearest rivals and were deserved winners of this trophy. Not so good in grade three though where it's believed the judges ears were painted on. Nuff said  Cheesey grins from all

In the picture above: Holding the Trophy for winning grade four is piper Archie Anderson (Centre) , others in the photo from left to right: Piper Derek McGlone, Piper Roddie McIntyre, Piper Bobby Millar, Frank Boff, Drummer Dick Thorburn, Archie, Bass Drummer Aggy Glendinning Drummer Ian (Titch) Dalgliesh P/M Cammy Renwick, and Smithy.   We thank everybody who participated on the day, well played lads and if we put the work in over this coming winter, hopefully we can do even better in the coming season.

The Band marches on to victory at Peebles Highland Games where they were well received by a rather appreciative audience. A good result considering there were about twenty two bands competing that day.  Cheesey grins from all
