Hawick Pipe Band

My name is Stephen Domingo. An electrician to trade, I work with John Robertson & Sons of Hawick I am Married to Marie and not long became a dad. I've been a piper with the band for 28 years now.

My favourite trips have been to Dublin with Trades RFC, and to Trinidad with the Border Reivers. My most lasting memory is of marching down Rothesay High Street after winning the competition there, and seeing Doddy Short's underpants start to creep down his legs after the elastic snapped. I started learning the chanter from the age of ten with the Hawick Royal British Legion, I then joined the Hawick pipe band. After a lengthy absence I rejoined the band and I haven't looked back since.

I'll finish by wishing Hawick Pipe Band all the best for the forthcoming competition season in the hoping that we'll get some decent results.

Not so long ago I told him the truth that I hadn't; the truth of the matter is I didn't have a clue what to do with her. Jonesey was devastated that I had taken so long to tell him.
